9th Annual Kite Flying Festival

Description:   9th Annual Kite Flying Festival, sponsored by the Frederick County (Va.) Parks and Recreation Department, Sherando Park soccer fields, 252 Lakeview Circle, Stephens City, Va. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your kites! Members of the Richmond Air Force will be on hand to discuss the science behind kite flying, the history of kites, and, weather-permitting, they will be demonstrating some high-flying kite tricks.
